Worst service ever, the security guard at 10.35 AM on 26/03/2026. Didn’t open parking gate and wasn’t responding to my question because he’s on call, does ADCB hire employees to be on call in their personal phone during working hours?

This is our worst banking experience in Dubai even we have the excellency account and relationship manager. Never listen to them no matter how they introduce and commit their investment products. Our experience is they convinced us to buy a fund with monthly fixed dividend. The sale staff promised the rate will never change. But only a few months after we bought it, they revised and reduced the dividends. When we made the complaint, they simply replied that sale manager has left ADCB and it’s her misunderstanding about the products. We don’t accept their explanation, but they didn’t do anything but closed our complaint. When we decided to sell it, the relationship manager told us we can do it on Internet banking. However, this is incorrect and actually this is required to go through their investment team. Their staff has no experience and proper training/knowledge about their products and procedures. When we called the team, the service is very slow and they just kept transferring our call and asked us to explain again and again. Eventually we submitted our request officially last week. But we still did not receive the money in our account after 3-4 days. When we tried to push and asked the status, either no response or the relationship manager replied it would take time to find the buyer and sell the mutual fund in the market, as well as the settlement process by ADCB before we can receive the money. We cannot believe this is the response from a RM. This staff should be trained again and to know the difference between fund and stock/ETF. Due to their staff’s misunderstanding, we didn’t earn a fixed dividend as they promised and we agreed in the beginning. Due to the incorrect information and incompetency, we cannot sell the products online and on time when the price is better. Even 3-4 days after we made our official request, we are still awaiting the action and money from their side. It took less than one hour when we invested but it took forever when we would like to withdraw. This is our worst banking experience in UAE for sure. We will close the account and all investment with ADCB.
